Critical Areas of Experience and Expertise Being Sought:

Those are:
- Development/fundraising experience (with emphasis on cultivation of individual donors, planned giving, and/or development of membership programs)
- Financial management

More Details About the Nominations Process:
To help build a board with the priority expertise needed (see above), the nominations committee crafts a ballot of nominees with requisite skills. Last year more than 20 people were nominated, and 10 were selected for a ballot with five open positions. This year’s ballot will be available to all paid members of the Association. The nominations committee, made up of a subset of current and former board members and working group members, uses a predefined set of criteria to review each candidate. At least three people review each nominee, and then meet via conference call to discuss candidates.
Thank you for your commitment to improving the Citizen Science Association by making a nomination of a candidate or candidates.
